Delicious Turkey Sausage Meatballs in Sage Cream Sauce Dinner Recipes

Ingredients

To make the meatballs, you will need:

  • One pound of ground turkey;

  • ½ cup of chopped white onion;

  • ¼ cup of almond flour;

  • ¼ cup of chopped fresh sage;

  • 3 cloves of medium-sized garlic and mince them;

  • One tablespoon of chopped fresh rosemary;

  • One tablespoon chopped fresh thyme;

  • ½ teaspoon of sea salt;

  • ½ teaspoon of red pepper flakes;

  • 2 tablespoons of avocado oil for cooking.

For the sauce, you will need:

  • 2 cups of full-fat coconut milk;

  • ½ part of small white onion’

  • One tablespoon of fresh rosemary, fresh thyme, and fresh sage;

  • 2 cloves of medium-sized garlic and mince them;

  • Canned tomatoes;

  • Sea salt;

  • And black pepper.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 F and put a baking tray with a parchment paper on it along with avocado oil spray over the tray.

  2. Combine all meatball ingredients (except the oil) into one bowl. Make some round meatballs by using a scoop and bake them for 20 minutes until it looks golden.

  3. Sauté the onions and garlic on a pan along with 2 tablespoons of olive or avocado oil until it looks brown and put the rest of the ingredients in it. You can pour the sauce directly to the meatball and your food is ready.
