Easy Crock Pot Cheesy Potato Soup Dinner Recipes


  • 6 pieces of large and peeled Yukon Gold potatoes and cut them in ½ inch cubes;

  • One medium onion and dice them;

  • 3 cloves of garlic and mince them;

  • One teaspoon of salt;

  • One teaspoon of pepper;

  • 6 cups of chicken broth;

  • One cup of cold milk;

  • 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour;

  • ½ cup of heavy cream;

  • One pound of Velveeta Cheese and cut them into chunks;

  • Fried crumbled bacon;

  • Green onions.


  1. Gather potatoes, chicken broth, salt and pepper, garlic, and onion into the crockpot. Stir them and cook on a high level for 3 hours or 8 hours on a low level. When it is done, the potatoes will be completely cooked and tender if you touch them using your fork.

  2. After that, you can whisk 3 tablespoons of flour with one cup of cold milk until the texture is smooth. Stir the flour instead and pour them into the potatoes along with a ½ cup of heavy cream. Stir them and cover the pot then you wait until 30 minutes. Later, you can add the cheese chunks on it and wait until it melted well. Garnish the soup with green onions and bacon.
